WORK EXPERIENCE
I worked for both Houghton Mifflin and Argosy Publishing over the course of 17 years. While working at these companies, I worked my way up from an entry-level position to becoming a project manager — leading producti0n and design teams, managing projects, outsourcing work, setting schedules and deadlines, collaborating with other teams and ensuring that company guidelines were followed.
As a freelancer (Sea Siren Studio) I have worked for a multitude of companies and clients, allowing me
to work on a broad range of projects which incudes print, digital and social media. I have worked remotely as a freelancer for almost 20 years, working independently on projects, but also collaborating with team members and clients located around the globe. I have worked on localizing products into numerous languages giving companies a global marketing presence.

At my most recent full-time tenure at Wayside Publishing, I was involved in implementing the development of both print and digital resources for the World Language Educational curriculum, effectively managing asset integration and ensuring seamless delivery to the Learning Management System. This involved taking the content from the print books for Spanish, French and German and converting it to digital format with the use of HTML/CSS on the backend system (PimCore), adding additional resources/assets such as audio, video, PDFs and additional quizzes, checking language tags and adding ADA compliance with short/long descriptions.
Although I am not a certified coder, I have dabbled in coding since high school. I had originally planned to go into coding and have dabbled with web design. I am not intimidated to go into the source code and find/change elements at the coding level that need to be addressed.
My attention to detail, artistic eye, strong work ethic, work efficiency, and great organization and communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines are what define me and make me a great asset
for anyone who I work with.
I am ideally looking for a full-time or contract to full-time job.
